One of my favorite spring scents. The scent to wear when there’s still some coldness in the air. Such a beautiful and masterfully crafted composition. You don’t find such florals so easily nowadays. I love the play of orange blossom, Turkish rose and tuberose on my skin. It smells like the pollen and petals of white flowers. It’s feminine and tender, but also sensual and complex at the same time. I’m in love.
I usually love the scent of orange flower, but in this fragrance the ylang-ylang runs away on my chemistry and overpowers the orange flower. Just mentioning it for those who also have trouble with ylang-ylang...
To me it's all about bitter sweet oranges, sharp in the beginning but after setting down turns into warm scent on my skin. This is the first Houbigant perfume ever in my collection and I really love it. Not for every day and not my signature one but for special mood or occasions when you want a bit of spring freshness from the garden in blossoms during cold winter day.
