I took a chance on this fragrance after watching YouTube reviews and was pleasantly surprised by its scent! While it's not my go-to fragrance nor do I wear it frequently, there's something about it that makes me love the way it projects when I do wear it. In fact, if I had to choose just five fragrances to keep, this one would definitely make the cut - isn't it interesting how our preferences can be so unpredictable? 😊
This Oud fragrance has significantly altered my perception of its category, previously believing it to be too overpowering and masculine for personal use, but now I think it's refined enough to suit anyone's taste. In fact, the sophisticated aroma is so impressive that I'm considering purchasing a full bottle after experiencing it in-store.
This perfume has an upscale quality to its scent, reminiscent of high-end baby powders! 🚿💆♀️
The opening is incredibly potent and attention-grabbing! I didn't initially have high hopes for the oud note, but this fragrance has won me over. In fact, it's now my top choice among oud-based perfumes, and I also think it's one of the best from Maison Francis Kurkdjian.
Stronger, cleaner rose notes at the opening compared to the EDP version, which takes on a dirtier quality as it dries down and becomes more similar to the EDP. However, unlike the EDP, this version doesn't lose its rose character and instead gains a subtle cinnamon nuance that elevates the scent to new heights. In my opinion, there's no better dark, seductive rose fragrance out there. It pairs perfectly with Atomic Rose in a simple two-fragrance collection for those who want to specialize in rose scents. Although the price is steep, it's worth it. The longevity of this perfume is astonishing - one or two sprays can fill a room for over 10 hours and linger as a skin scent for 16 hours. I'm sure it lasts even longer, but eventually, I have to stop tracking its performance and take a shower. Even clothes retain the scent for weeks after contact with the wearer's skin, so caution is advised when applying this fragrance.
