Reviews

This scent doesn't really stand out for me, it's surprisingly plain and lacks a strong presence. I'd describe it as a light, airy take on gourmand notes that feel overly manufactured. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ‘€

First thing I want to acknowledge is that this perfume doesn't overwhelm with sweetness. Instead, it's a captivating, seductive, and playful scent that makes it perfect for nights out at bars or similar settings. While it does have sweet and boozy notes, they're balanced just right, so it's not overwhelming โ€“ a quality that I think would appeal to both younger and older individuals, although it leans more towards the youthful side. The longevity is impressive, lasting around 7-8 hours, and the projection is good without being too intense; it's subtle enough to be cuddle-friendly after a night out. Personally, I enjoy wearing this as a change of pace from my usual go-to "night out" fragrances (Eros, UltraMale, Sauvage, etc.), and after just one wear, I received several compliments. I'm sure many fans of this underrated fragrance would prefer to keep it under the radar, but I have to recommend it to anyone, especially young adults in their late teens-20s who frequent going out events!

I'm still trying to understand why this perfume isn't more popular - it's truly exceptional, with great longevity, a reasonable price tag, and outshining many other popular scents like Invictus Victory and Million Dollar Lucky! It's an amazing fragrance that unfortunately got overshadowed by a poorly received marketing campaign and the initial flip-top cap (which they've since discontinued). If you ask me, you should definitely give it a try ๐Ÿ˜Š

I think we should focus on individual preferences rather than traditional gender-based categorizations of perfumes. While shopping for my son's birthday, I discovered Intenso by D&G and loved its scent. After giving it to him six months ago, he barely touched the Pure XS but has almost finished the Intenso. I decided to try the Pure XS myself, spraying it four times yesterday and again today. It has a refreshing, aromatic opening that really resonates with me. The fragrance dominates my senses for about an hour before settling down. Fortunately, I didn't experience any headaches, despite the liquor content, which was a concern. Unlike Stronger With You Intensely, Pure XS isn't sweet; it's more complex and less sugary, similar to its cousin One Million. As a 46-year-old woman who enjoys these scent profiles, I find Pure XS to be a great shared fragrance option with my husband, as he also appreciates these types of fragrances. The sillage is moderate after an hour, but the longevity is good, leaving subtle whiffs for over six hours. Overall, I consider this type of perfume "easy reach" โ€“ perfect for those days when you want to smell great without going all out with a fancy scent.

After all the advertising and a history of very youthful, candy sweet Paco Rabanne fragrances, which I have loved (Invictus was an instant favorite, even if it's geared towards teenagers), I had high expectations for this new perfume. Unfortunately, WOW! What a letdown! Despite being sure I would love it, I made the mistake of purchasing a full bottle (a decision I regret).
