Ralph Lauren Blue

I'm thrilled to see Blue is back on Ralph Lauren's website after being discontinued for a while. It held a special place in my heart as my go-to signature scent for years. I even went so far as to add my name to online petitions and Facebook groups begging Lauren to bring it back. However, when I purchased a travel size around 2 years ago, I was thoroughly underwhelmed - the fragrance lacked the distinctive notes that made the original Blue stand out. It's possible that the bottle had been sitting for an extended period or wasn't stored properly, which would explain the disparity in scent. The authentic RL Blue reminded me of Spears Curiosity, but with a more refined and unique character. I've spent countless hours scouring the RL website, only to be disappointed - until now. Although I'm excited to have this opportunity to give it another try, my past experience has left me hesitant. Has anyone else experienced similar issues or can shed some light on what might have gone wrong?

I was initially drawn to this perfume's potential for being my go-to scent, as it presented itself beautifully during the initial hours, seamlessly blending with my skin. However, its character took an unexpected turn afterwards. While I appreciate its subtle balance of blue notes, citrus, woodiness, and floral nuances that temper each other nicely, something strange happens when it wears off. At that point, I'm left with a damp, moss-like quality that drains the fragrance's original vibrancy. Ultimately, I gifted it to my mother, who seemed to enjoy it more than I did, although I've noticed that others have had success with it, which is a shame since it didn't quite work out for me as I had hoped.

Wow, this perfume is truly underrated! In my opinion, anyone who enjoys floral fragrances should definitely give this a try. The subtle, soft florals are incredibly appealing and I highly recommend it to those who love floral scents - 10/10, if you ask me! It's one of the most "perfect" scents out there...

This one doesn't suit my taste, I find myself drawn to something else, specifically a fragrance designed with males in mind.
