a good non-serious, non-powdery rose scent with fresh rose and citrus, does not smell green but it has a honeyed, sweet facet that smells very "sticky" (which i personally do not like). it does not smell like elie saab, it has the floral vibe, but it is quite different it is quite innofensive, but it smells like how it costs..
I like this. It's fresh and citrussy and rosy and lasts a long time considering the price. I agree it has a hint of Elie Saab in the opening, but is less complex overall with no patchouli.
Disgusting synthetic chemicals make up the Al Rehab line. The best use is in scented candles or room freshener. As long as you don't let it touch your body. Sabaya is no different from the rest.
Now here's a NICE fruity floral! I am very pleased with this cheerful and sunny scent, complete with lots of citrus. The florals are a little hard for me to identify - a pleasing mixture. Citrus predominates, making it very good for hot weather. Additionally, I feel the sillage of the oil is excellent, at least for the first hour. After that, it becomes more subtle and office friendly. Note - If you enjoy Sabaya and yearn for even more of a tropical vibe, try Al Rehab's RAWAN. The guava/kiwi accent in that pretty floral mixture is ideal for wearing in the tropics..... or pretending you're there!
Starts off very Rosey, then there are some lemony/citrus notes that come through, after about 5/10 minutes, it smells a bit like Teepol dishwashing liquid. As I have noticed with most Al- Rehab perfumes and me - there is a penance period that I have to pay of about 10 minutes between application and where it eventually settles down where it goes excessively sweet like Poeme/Poison/Organza and I really have to grin, grit my teeth and as they say in Japanese "ganbatte" through those 10 minutes. I am not sure why my chemistry does this, but almost every single Women's/Unisex scent does this. After that it mellows into something like Rooibos tea with honey and lemon and a little like Woolworth's (South Africa) Sensu. Not a bad scent, it probably won't be my favourite but I don't hate it.
