Air freshener vibes. Feels weirdly designer’ish. This is an Oud fragrance for people that don’t actually like Oud and think Cypriol/Nagarmotha or synthetic cedar notes are somehow real Oud. Is there Oud in this? Maybe. Do I smell any? Not at all. But as long as people keep thinking the aforementioned materials are actually Oud I guess the hype will keep on keepin on. Fun fact, plantation Oud is the lowest quality Oud available. FdB hasn’t been a house long enough to have actual vintage Oud or trees old enough to produce quality oils so let’s cut the crap and just acknowledge they tell a great story and sell an even bigger farce with the price. If you want to smell like a cheap air freshener go with Sahraa.

Hmmmm... Could be a gourmand blend! yet spicy and syrup ambery! I didn't like it at first spray cause it was new to my nose! but later a bit (10 seconds in) i realized that it's a sweet yet spicy amber. Grand sweet oud spicy amber. It has vanilla, amber, big doses of cardamom, crystal clear saffron, oud, patchouli, sandalwood, and rose. Later i can detect sweet peppers, and syrup. This is an interesting gourmand yet oudy blend, i kind of think it's sort of cloying but not sure as i didn't dislike it yet! it's in between the enjoyment and the fear of it might take a wrong turn heading to an overly sweet direction as a calm down (base note). It is a sweet spicy amber blend, and it's quite interesting although i didn't pay any attention to it when i sniffed it in Jovoy boutique! i wonder why! 10 mins in - it now became syrup saffrons, young red roses, soft vanilla oud, cardamom, and amber

Sahraa is a complete ripoff. The brand as a whole is a total joke if you ask me. They prey on the gullible and uninformed. They send out hundreds of free bottles to influencers. Not something someone does with "precious materials." In fact, if you do an analysis, you'll see how cheap these fragrances actually are. Less than 1% of the stuff they base their whole brand and image around. One of the least ethical brands in the business. Meant for clueless wannabes who need to spend as much money as possible to feel special. An embarrassment and an insult to a 3rd of the planet and every oud lover out there.

Sahraa is undoubtedly one of the most expertly blended perfumes I have ever tried. This bright, nuanced oud fragrance is characterized by a beautiful grapefruit note at the top, delicate florals in the heart, and a warm amber-oud finish. I usually roll my eyes at image-laden descriptions of fragrance, but Sahraa got me. When I tried the sample in the store, I swear it smelled golden. I saw a desert sun and knew this juice was different. The florals are what make Sahraa unique - strong but soft. I am very sensitive to rose, and this was perfectly balanced. The pepper comes and goes lightly, like sand in a warm breeze. After trying this perfume, it’s surprising to read some reviews that call it synthetic or talk about a diluted reformulation. I was blown away by the luxurious purity of Sahraa. I also wrote the company, and they stated unequivocally that the ingredients remained high quality with no reformulation. This is the real thing and worth every cent (imho).

I find the opening of Sahraa off-putting; on my skin, it’s incredibly bold and the Oud overpowers all the other notes, but that dry down is out of this world. It’s simply stunning with the interplay between the Oud, rose, saffron, and geranium, ultimately creating balanced perfection. Sahraa is gorgeous and perfectly unisex; all that from one spray means the 15ml size is now a consideration. Lastly about performance. Like other Oud based scents—Dusita Oud Infini comes to mind— I don’t like to smell this one up close. I need at least 10” distance in the opening, so this is a spray to the wrist scent, or at least be warned to give yourself a good 45 minutes before leaving the house. My husband on the other hand was swooning 5 minutes in, when I was still on the fence. In fact, he loves it so much it’s one of the reasons I’d like it in my collection. Edit: Sahraa gets better the longer I wear it.
