Reviews

This scent exudes a soft green essence with an air of timelessness rather than datedness, evoking a vintage vibe. While I initially applied excessive amounts and found it overpowering, a moderate application has become my preference. I don't detect any prominent floral notes, but the subtle natural undertones evoke memories of home. This scent reminds me of a refreshing spring morning in the southern United States, where the dewy grass and morning sounds of animals create a cozy atmosphere.

I was drawn to the notes of this fragrance initially, and while it didn't fully live up to my expectations, it did exhibit some interesting characteristics at first. The Ambergris really shines through in the opening spray, accompanied by a fruity and tangy quality that reminded me of Dear Polly by Vilhelm Parfumerie, but with a more youthful and feminine twist. Unfortunately, the dry down on my skin left behind a rather sweet and unremarkable scent, which could be achieved with a less expensive perfume. The longevity was decent at around 4+ hours, but it faded significantly after an hour, making reapplication necessary to maintain a noticeable presence throughout the day.

This perfume would benefit from a refined balance of its notes, specifically a reduction in mint and an emphasis on tangerine. Additionally, it lacks the staying power one might expect, which could be addressed to enhance its overall impact.

This scent is absolutely delightful! The sweetness is intensely apparent on my skin. A generous amount of sugar, complemented by rich vanilla and zesty citrus notes, creates a refreshing blend reminiscent of the warmth and sunshine of spring and summer seasons.

I'm able to pick up on all the nuances of this perfume, from sweet sugar notes to refreshing mint, rich whiskey, subtle watery undertones, and even floral magnolia (which reminds me of my own blooming southern magnolia tree!) 🌺 The scent is truly captivating. While I do get a hint of BR540 in the dry down, it's distinct enough to stand out on its own. If only it lingered longer and projected more strongly, but alas, it still lingers pleasantly for hours.
