It does smell like fantasy, the notes are undetectable and cannot be pinpoint on, but it is a very good dupe with moderate sillage and longevity, worth your money. Smells a bit more synthetic than fantasy especially the fact that it doesnt smell like white chocolates and cupcakes as much, but overall a similar and good scent, something i would repurchase
Yes, immediately I, too, thought of 'Fantasy'. Very nice. I'm normally not drawn to this type of fragrance, but this is working very well for a cool, spring day. EDIT: I really like how Sandra performs on the dry-down! An hour in, some of the louder notes at the beginning have subsided, the beautiful, woody-musky base with just the right touches of vanilla and patch is more-noticeable. Very relaxing. It's creamy, fresh-floral, with sprightly fruit-notes, and that smooth base is glorious. I like this better than Fantasy, actually, as Fantasy has an annoying synthetic note that I'm no fan of. Sandra, on the other hand, is excellent from beginning to end. If some reviewers are comparing this to original, pre-reformulated Fantasy, I believe it. These last years I've seen so many great frags get hacked to death with new IFRA regs. Sad. Thank god for Al Rehab! EDIT: Anyone else notice the subtle pink pepper note? This has moved from "Like" to "Like Very Much" for me.
Love this. Starts out fresh and fruity in a clean way, then becomes creamy and almost magnolia like with soft smoothness. Uplifting and happy. I find it is very similar to Fantastic and didn't need both.
To me, the rollerball oil version is better and has more depth. It does remind me of BS Fantasy, it's like Fantasy older sister-more grown up and less candy sweet-due to the spice and incense notes that i get. Totally wearable in the daytime in rainy season (i live in tropical country, sweet scents usually end up too cloying for our summer sunny days). Since many people compare Fantastic to Fantasy too, i'll try to get Fantastic and compare it with Sandra soon. Edit : So my fantastic arrived today, i order the edp because it's hard to find the oil version in my country right now. It does, let's say, 85% similar to Sandra. But Sandra has more spice/incense kick to it that makes it smells more oriental to me. Fantastic has a better sillage whilst Sandra has a way better longevity. Well, For full impact you can layer them both
I have the roller. This smells exactly like first few notes suggest, fruity and floral, seems like there's a lot from both but can't tell which ones, it's as if they mixed whatever fruits and florals they had around, no depth or thought behind it. It's sweet and sour, I see the comparisons to "Fantasy", but tbh I like this one less. It's bright and fresh, but too much of a hand soap vibe and synthetic. If I smelled this on someone I'd think they smell lovely and pleasant, but don't want it on myself at all, after about 5mins I was tired of it already, just doesn't work.
