Bought this perfume with the expectation that the reviews highlighting its projection were exaggerated, but unfortunately, they accurately reflected my experience!
I own the EDT version which leans heavily on ambroxan and has a refreshing, spicy quality that many people adore. In contrast, the Parfum is more refined and sophisticated. I was pleasantly surprised by this fragrance! When I tested it, I couldn't help but keep sniffing my arm because its smoothness left me in awe. To put it simply, the Parfum has a luxurious, fine-whisky-like quality that's perfect for a discerning gentleman who values understated elegance and commands respect.
I was expecting more from Sauvage Parfum, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The scent is not as rich and vibrant as I had hoped, given its predecessors (EDP and EDT). Moreover, the longevity is underwhelming, which makes the experience feel fleeting. For a perfume that commands such a premium price tag, I expect more oomph!
This fragrance is a standout in my collection.
Just exceptional, undoubtedly one of my top picks among blue fragrances, and to me, the best in the Sauvage range aside from Elixir which I haven't had a chance to try.
