I recently acquired this perfume at Macy’s and my take is: Aroma: Exceptional It exudes a sweet, sexy, yet undeniably masculine quality Duration: Sustained for over six hours Trail: Depends on the number of spritzes used This fragrance is an outstanding creation from start to finish.
This scent expertly combines the ambroxan and youthful energy of Eros with the seductive spices from Wanted By Night, giving it a slightly more mature edge reminiscent of Oxford Bleu English Laundry. Unlike Eros Flame, this fragrance doesn't evoke a dreamy sweetness, and it avoids the overpowering fruitiness found in Wanted By Night. I find it suitable for everyday wear at any time of day. 😊
I'm thoroughly impressed by this perfume's scent, which effortlessly blends fresh, aromatic, spicy, and citrusy/fruity notes. It has all the makings of an exceptional designer fragrance in my book. My only concern is its longevity, as I find it fading relatively quickly, usually within a couple of hours. It's possible that my skin chemistry isn't well-suited to the aroma chemicals, but I'm willing to experiment with a neutral lotion to optimize the scent's performance. Despite this issue, I still believe this perfume has great potential and would be an excellent choice for everyday wear, suitable for all seasons, and even as a going-out scent.
This perfume doesn't align with my preferences.
This to me is a green, nutty, woody scent with a prominent cedar note that dominates my impression. While I can understand why others appreciate it, I'm not particularly fond of cedar and have a stronger affinity for the original Extreme, Infrared, and OG fragrances. Additionally, I find it puzzling that Wanted By Night is often mentioned in the "smells like" section as it shares no discernible similarities with this scent, which I happen to own.
