Does anyone else get an initial blast of almonds and leather before the citrus and florals?
"Sundrunk" is the perfect name for this fragrance. Soothing neroli/rhubarb combo that kinda makes me imagine myself getting out of a pool on a hot day and then sipping on a mimosa. The projection isn't anything to write home about.
The beginning is pretty rough; it has an industrial cleaner-esque vibe that reminded me of Bvlgari’s Riva Solare. Thankfully it calms down a lot and turns into a rich orange marmalade-like scent after about 15 minutes. Imagine Solinotes’ Pomelo ramped up a few steps and you’ve got this.
Orange creamsicle meets soapy bathroom, or maybe the cleaner in the bathroom. Light and airy. Brings to mind the sun, summer, the color orange, and sunlight.
I get why people don’t like this, because it is definitely artificial smelling. But I think that’s kinda the point. Plastic pool floaties, sweating in the direct sun, with an orange soda. Artificially flavored joy
