This perfume comes at a steep price, yet it ultimately settles into a straightforward cedar and sandalwood scent that is surprisingly pleasant and features a smooth, creamy quality.
This scent embodies the essence of my memories from Vietnam (formerly Indochina) - a nostalgic and emotional connection that transported me back to my childhood days. In 2017, I discovered this fragrance at a department store counter amidst a dozen other Diptyque scents, and the aroma overwhelmed me with nostalgia, recalling fond memories of my ancestral homeland.
It has a distinctively male quality, with a strong emphasis on woodsy notes and incense undertones. I ended up gifting it to my partner. 🏠👊
