I'm astonished by the fact that Carner Barcelona presents this as a woman's perfume, not a unisex one. I was thoroughly expecting it to be geared towards men, but how wrong I am! I'm thoroughly impressed with the quality of this perfume, although I'm not entirely convinced if I've fallen head over heels in love just yet. As I explore Carner Barcelona's perfumes through their sample pack, this particular scent has piqued my interest. For me, heliotrope is the standout note, while almond is unmistakable. However, I'm still undecided about the notes themselves. The actual perfume, on the other hand, is lovely and potent – one spray is all it takes. What a rare quality in today's world of fleeting fragrances that vanish within an hour or two! It's remarkable, especially considering the hefty prices we pay for them (tragic, indeed). Carner Barcelona Tardes boasts impressive longevity and performance. I crave more than just a fleeting thrill; I want others to subtly notice what I'm wearing, and I certainly expect to be able to smell myself hours later – is that too much to ask from a fragrance? Fortunately, CB Tardes delivers on this promise. Carner Barcelona's lineup of intriguing scents appears to be well worth investigating, with the hope that they'll all share the same intensity as this one!

Tardes begins with a distinctive powdery and floral almond accord that sets the tone for the fragrance. 🌸

At first sniff, the scent reminds me of fresh strawberries and creamy almond notes. While it exudes a distinctly feminine aura, I believe it could also appeal to men. After an initial spritz, I'm giving it an initial score of 8 out of 10 – I'll need to test it further before making a final judgment 💁‍♀️

I initially struggled with Tardes for its first 40 minutes, and the celery note was quite overpowering. I almost gave up on it, but I'm glad I decided to give it another chance. The scent eventually transforms into a fresh and clean aroma that lingers pleasantly around me. Some people might find the performance lacking, but I found it surprisingly strong! Unfortunately, my issue with Tardes is that it can be slightly nauseating for me, which is often the case with heliotrope-based scents. Additionally, the dry down bears a striking resemblance to Clean Reserve Heliotrope & Santal. It's a beautiful scent, but unfortunately, it's not something I can wear comfortably. 😊

This fragrance...I'm happy that I got to sample it first, instead of buying it outright 😊. So, I fell in love with this fragrance house because of El Born and gave this a shot. Unfortunately, I'm not impressed; this scent isn't for me 🤔. I'd be willing to trade this if anyone has a gourmand fragrance they're willing to decant and swap me for it 💁‍♀️. This smells like freshly picked clothes from the dry cleaners - full of starch and fabric softener ⚖️. With two sprays on both wrists, I'm not blown away by its strength 😐. Would I buy this again? No 🚫. Does it enter BEAST MODE, good, just okay or weak sauce at best? Just okay 🤷‍♀️. It's an EDP, and I'm willing to trade it 💰. Should you sample it first, skip it or blind buy it?
