You shouldn't be surprised that this celebrity fragrance is excellent 🤩. Coming from the esteemed house of Puig, one of Spain's most renowned and oldest perfume manufacturers 👏. It's no secret that this scent bears similarities with PR's One Million 💨; after all, Puig owns Paco Rabanne, making it more like a budget-friendly iteration of their own formula 🔥. Not to mention, Puig's extensive portfolio includes Nina Ricci, Carolina Herrera, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Comme des Garçons, Adolfo Domínguez, Prada, Valentino, and many other designer brands 💫. As a result, it's no surprise that so many budget perfumes from Puig are actually top-notch and even cheaper alternatives to iconic designer scents 👀.
I would say it's refined compared to 1 million, with less sweetness and a more moderate duration on the skin. In my opinion, this makes it easier to wear and actually improves its overall appeal. I particularly enjoy the pepper note in this scent. Moreover, considering its price, I believe it's an essential addition to any perfume collection.
WOW! This perfume is truly amazing! As a novice when it comes to analyzing scents, my description might be from a layperson's perspective 🙈. Upon first sniff, I detect a potent yet subtly sweet cedar note that gradually mellows into a rich, warm amber with the cedar lingering in the background. What a relief there are no powdery notes! 😊
I picked up this perfume on clearance, drawn by the positive reviews and hoping to take a chance. The fragrance has really won me over - I adore its sultry, warm aroma. While it may fade quickly, I still enjoy it immensely. In fact, I plan to purchase a larger bottle next time so my husband can reapply as needed. Fortunately, he seems to appreciate the scent too, and is quite discerning about his fragrances. To me, Golden Secret is a vast improvement over the expensive cologne he used to wear, which was overpowering and unpleasant. Instead, this perfume strikes the perfect balance, making it a great fit for my husband's refined taste.
This perfume has a lovely aroma, with fresh mint and apple notes that open up beautifully. On the other hand, it unfortunately lacks longevity, lasting only around three hours before fading away. Additionally, it tends to sit close to the skin rather than projecting far. While its performance improves in warmer weather, I wouldn't describe it as a summer scent. 😊
