I can't help but express my admiration for this scent. It's a perfect choice for bedtime. The fragrance develops into a dried-down profile, offering a blend of fruity, smoky, and leathery notes.
If you're someone who loves building a perfume collection, this one should definitely be in your stash. Though it might be a tad pricey, I can't deny how much I love it. Despite the higher cost, it's absolutely gorgeous.
I don't usually go for full bottles because they can be pretty pricey. But if I did invest in one, oh my goodness, this scent would be absolutely luscious! I was really hoping to love it since I always look for scents with fruit, rose, or oud notes. And boy, does this deliver? It reminds me a bit of Midnight Special but feels more fruity than floral or rose-based, and it avoids the sharpness of Delina's top notes.
I picked up a tester from Neiman Marcus and was a bit puzzled when I realized it cost $900. I wish I had known that; I’d have saved it for a special occasion instead of spraying it all over my house. It’s supposed to have fruity notes at the beginning, but I didn’t catch those in the scent—I only detected something pleasant, whatever it was. Originally, it earned a solid 9/10. Even after three or four hours, the scent remained powerful and wonderful. It offers a leathery, smoky oud vibe that’s exactly what I look for in a fragrance. A perfect 10/10—though honestly, the rating system should go up to 20/10! Even hours later, it’s still strong and amazing, exuding leather, oud, and pure love. It’s the only Malle fragrance I’ve adored so far, and while it deserves a spot on my perfume rack, it’s priced a bit too high for my liking. It’d be perfect if it retailed at $500 with some discount perks.
This perfume is absolutely terrible—the worst I've ever smelled. It has decent longevity, but the projection is lacking, which is a major issue. People at work have been sniffing nonstop since morning, which isn’t good. I can definitely see why someone might feel misled by its price tag and marketing. It’s overrated, and while it does last a while, it doesn’t spread well as promised. I’d highly recommend avoiding it due to how overpowering and off-putting it is.
