My first niche fragrance is entirely justified. Upon smelling this, I became instantly enamored with its essence. Its longevity on me was remarkable, lasting approximately 16 hours - an impressive feat, considering many fragrances in my collection typically fade after 8-12 hours. In fact, my skin tends to render most scents ineffective within 3-6 hours, making the extended duration of this fragrance all the more astonishing.
Blind purchase, unfortunately. At first, I didn't find it too unpleasant, I even grew accustomed to it a bit. One day, I decided to reapply a few more spritzes to amplify its scent. A huge mistake... the smell became so synthetic that it made me queasy just hours later and two days on, I could still detect its lingering presence on my clothes. I'm unsure if I'll ever wear this again, but if I do, it will be in a very diluted form, far from my headspace. This bottle, unfortunately, is going to last an eternity for me.
It's a decent perfume.
I wholeheartedly agree with Bennj ๐ The Scent of Peace is not worth its price tag in my opinion - it's a cheap, synthetic concoction of citrus notes that don't live up to expectations ๐ซ The pineapple notes lack the natural essence and vibrancy I'd expect from a designer fragrance ๐ Paco Rabanne's Black XS L'Exces, released in 2012, is a better example of well-executed fruity notes ๐ง In comparison, Scent of Peace falls short and fails to deliver an impressive olfactory experience ๐ Even the performance is disappointing ๐ Considering the investment required, its projection is weak and may not leave the desired impression โ Fragrances like Aventus, CDNIM, Parfums Vintage, Black Xs L'excess, Supremacy Not Only Intense, Hacivat, and Cedrat Boise do it better in terms of sillage and aura ๐ I'd recommend exploring alternatives for high-quality fragrances with authentic pineapple notes ๐ฆ
This scent doesn't evoke Aventus to me, full stop. While I sense a similar aura, that's where the similarity ends. Instead, I detect notes reminiscent of Sauvage. Nevertheless, this fragrance has carved out its own unique character, which I find stunning. ๐
