Reviews

I'm experiencing some issues with the fragrance, as the scent isn't developing as expected and is causing me discomfort.

This perfume has won my heart! The pumpkin accord is incredibly delightful, reminiscent of a freshly picked pumpkin from a patch. I appreciate the unexpected addition of tangerines, whipped cream, and musk, which create a unique autumnal scent. The "The Perfect Pumpkin" inspiration shines through, with hints of maple syrup that evoke warm, cozy feelings. This perfume would be perfect for both men and women, exuding a fresh, creamy vibe reminiscent of Halloween and FALL. While I don't detect any prominent rose notes, the pumpkin takes center stage in this lovely fragrance. Its unique blend is more delicious than gourmand, making it suitable for wear up to Christmas. When paired with YSL Black Opium (Le Parfum), it's truly magical!

I was really hoping to connect with this perfume, but unfortunately, it didn't quite resonate with me. The pumpkin note had a nice earthy quality that I appreciated initially, although it didn't linger for long and only made an appearance in the opening stages. Additionally, the combination of fresh ginger and tangerine created a lively impression, yet it was short-lived, giving way to an overwhelmingly floral aroma that dried down into a sweet, floral skin scent with a subtle dry musk undertone. I would have preferred a stronger emphasis on the vegetal aspects rather than the floral ones.

๐ŸŒผ Oh, what a delightful perfume! I must admit, I wouldn't have typically chosen this one for myself, but thanks to the sample set, I got to discover its charms. It's become a pattern that I'm really enjoying gourmand scents - they make me feel like a spiced pumpkin loaf or a delicious squash curry! The aroma is sweet, savory, tangy, warm, spicy, and truly orange in hue, making me look quite happy. Although it's quite strong - I accidentally oversprayed at first, only to realize it's a loud scent! ๐ŸŽ‰ Despite this, I felt endearingly charming and content while wearing it, which was an absolute blast! ๐Ÿ˜Š

The sweetness of orange blossom and spicy warmth of ginger dominate my senses, leaving me to crave a stronger presence of pumpkin. The tangerine and neroli notes complement the scent beautifully, evoking memories of autumnal days spent among vibrant foliage. If scents could take on a hue, this one would be the color orange personified - a masterful blend of sweet citrus, musky florals, and spicy warmth. Alas, it falls short of my expectations, failing to evoke the cozy aroma of pumpkin pie.
