I've received my package and tested the mystery purchase, only to be greeted by a familiar scent - reminiscent of Nivea lotion, indeed! The fragrance has a distinctively lotion-like quality to it, rather than powdery, which suits me just fine. While I couldn't pinpoint specific notes, I'm pleased with the overall result. It's nice to have this addition in my collection.
I concur with lizzie81, spot on. Bought it precisely for that purpose and I'm thoroughly delighted!
I picked up this perfume after reading rave reviews mentioning doll-like notes, similarities to Love's Baby Soft and Sensi, with hints of L'Instant Magic and baby scents. To me, you're a perfect blend of Johnson's Baby Shampoo and Love's Baby Soft - I'm absolutely enamored! Upon application, I detect a subtle PlayDoh note that has me squealing with delight. Your comforting aroma has been spreading throughout my space, and I find myself craving a matching lotion or oil. Your vintage 2010 charm is undeniable, reminiscent of the pre-gourmand era. I only wish there was an intense version to obsess over - come back, please!
Toujours stands out as a superior alternative to Glamour, in my opinion. It shares similarities with Bulgari Blu, but with a more pronounced bitterness, which I find appealing. The scent has a refreshing and invigorating quality, reminiscent of citrus without any explicit notes, showcasing impressive blending of warm accords (almond, cardamom, heliotrope) while maintaining its uplifting character. Unfortunately, the soapy aspect is too reminiscent of Bulgari Blu for my taste, ultimately leaving me somewhat underwhelmed.
Not quite a traditional gourmand, I feel no almond notes, but rather an almond milk character instead. The dominant scent is heliotrope with subtle cardamom undertones. As time passes, lily of the valley and a hint of vanilla from the benzoin emerge. Unfortunately, I found it uninspiring, so I've decided to pass it on to someone else.
