Uncut Gem

I really wanted to like this after reviews, but after receiving a sample and letting it sit for a while, all I could smell was a saccharin sweet fragrance, more akin to a commercial bathroom cleaner scent. Very synthetic, and nothing overtly masculine here.

Unimpressive addition to a stellar Frederic malle lineup. Basic, inoffensive, masculine that checks every box for a man who is not into the fragrance hobby

😲😲 With deference to those who have expressed sore dissatisfaction on this juice (as everyone is entitled to their opinion whether positive or negative), but could it be some may have gotten their hands on a fake? Uncut gem seems to me an extremely refined men's fragrance, that I am almost in shock reading these negative comments. Yeah yeah, fragrance is subjective and all that, but the manner in which uncut gem has been described by those who don't dig it makes me really sympathetic, and therefore wonder if perhaps people have got the wrong end of the stick about this juice or they just got a fake, honestly?? 🤷🏼♂️ I seriously wonder if we are reviewing the same fragrance!! I could easily put this frag down as my numero uno of all time, and I am not a novice in the niche fragrance world. Note, I'm no pro but certainly no novice either :) I would have said this is the safest blind-buy for an exquisite niche men's fragrance but given the several negative comments, I would suggest for people to be wary of where they purchase their copy from, or at least buy a sample and decide for themselves

Smells super similar to Tom ford Costa assura parfum, surprised noone has said this. I actually like it. It's really fizzy which I love

Certainly not what I expected. After the initial sprays I thought something was wrong, didn't expect this scent to be this boring and linear. I resprayed a couple of hours later - but yes, sadly...what a forgettable fragrance..great sillage and projection though.
