Uomo starts off a bit metallic to my nose, probably from the violet. With a blast of bergamot, geranium, nutmeg and sage. A bit sharp honestly but the dry down is lovely, clean and smooth. Overall, its elegant, light, and inoffensive. Safe for the office.
nice smell but the preformance is very problematic. this frag is WEAK!!! you can hardly smell it after 2 hours (top). it stays after 2 hours only as a weak skin scent...
I don't know how Trussardi think they can sell this today as a self respecting Edt. It has less bite than an aftershave and last for a shorter time than most aftershaves. This stuff is just the froth off the top of the correct cologne which is of course the original which I have never smelt but I read about. Today however I have the Edt on my left arm and the EdP on my right. They both started off nice enough with a blast of Italian lemon then the former collapses on itself and becomes like a tissue wipe while the latter settles down and is really a nice Edt . It is not an EdP and overpriced for what it is but I like it. You actually pick out the notes. Leather, oakmoss, violet , lemon. In fact because it lasts several hours it gets a solid thumbs up and I am keeping the bottle. The former? Throwing away the sample bottle. They should add more alcohol a and turn it into an aftershave.
There are, for my nose, three affordable designer fragrances every man should own: (1) Egoiste, (2) Versace L’homme; (3) Trussardi Uomo—the reformulated version (which I’m glad everyone hates because it keeps the price down). All three are modern wonders. But I’m choosing to post here, on the Trussardi page, because the latter performs the best of all three (a week on clothing, no joke). And, also, the Trussardi flacon is like a sleek marital aid.
