mmm... not understanding the rave. This does smell good but it would never make a best list of mine. I think it is a safe blind buy - nothing to really hate in this fragrance. It does smell like I am poolside - it does smell good- but it is average as a fragrance and brings me no bliss. (I highly recommend - Loewe's Paula Ibiza Eclectic - I want to drench myself in this fantastic summer fragrance)
Coppertone? Banana Boat? It's definitely one of the "classic" suntan lotion scents. Not sun*screen*, but that banana coconut tanning lotion. Didn't last on my skin for more than 5 minutes, nor my sleeve for 10. $60 / oz. Noooopey nope.
I ordered this scent because I actually wanted that rubber-forward, chlorine smell. I wanted that sharp-but-comforting scent you get when you walk next to the indoor-pool in an upscale hotel, but there's none of that in this particular frag. I get nothing, in fact, but coconut. It's not bad at all, but it kind of smells like getting a whiff of your roommate's shampoo, if that make sense. It doesn't necessarily scream "vacation," but it is very pleasant. I was hoping for something different.
Points for uniqueness. A risky fragrance though. Too many sprays or sprayed on the wrong spot and I have a headache.
This smells like a dried banana chip sunscreen. It has horrible projection, but it stays a skin scent for a decent time. It’s a like not a love.
