My aunt used to wear this perfume daily and it would smell incredible. She'd take me to Walgreens with her every other month to buy a new bottle because she loved it so much. However, unfortunately, it has since lost its appeal - it now smells sour and powdery on my skin, which is unflattering enough that I had to wash it off immediately. It's clear that the formula has been changed.

I gave this perfume another chance despite initial doubts, and I'm glad I did! On my skin, it manifests as a refined, soapy clean scent that I find quite enjoyable once settled. Initially, it's too green for my taste, but it transforms into a warm, vintage fragrance that reveals the vanilla note. I'm thrilled to have re-evaluated this perfume and think it will be a great fit for springtime 2023; it was a nice surprise as a blind buy, and the swan bottle is truly stunning!

Here is the rewritten comment: I've got two versions of Cosmair - the travel spray from 2000 or 2010? 🕰️, and a newer bottle (2020). The older version stands out with its stronger animalic character, showcasing indolic notes in the opening, followed by a beautiful honeyed civetty dry-down. The top notes in this older version are spicier, sharper, more complex, and feature orange blossom alongside something green 🌿. Its staying power is significantly longer, accompanied by a richer sillage 👃. In contrast, the new bottle is perfect for a body spray - it's easy to apply without worrying about overspray 💧. The scent is soft and friendly, with notes of pineapple 🍍, vanilla 🍰, powder ✨, and possibly cinnamon ❗️, resulting in a light, approachable fragrance. While both versions are pleasant, the older one exudes more presence and complexity 🔥.

Here's a rewritten version of the comment in a communication speaking tone with few emojis: A cozy, autumnal scent that wraps me up like a warm blanket. It's inviting, substantial, and feels like curling up with a good book. The aroma is clean yet sumptuous, like a luxurious soap with a touch of oats and flower petals. The packaging reminds me of Christmas ornaments, ballet, and music boxes. 🎄 The scent itself is captivating, evoking the amber glow of an antique lamp. Rounded florals blend seamlessly with cinnamon vanilla musk, creating a harmonious and smooth aroma with just the right amount of spice. It's like holding a dried flower arrangement in one hand and sipping a warm cinnamon latte in the other. 😊 When I close my eyes, I imagine a grand, lavishly decorated traditional American house during the fall holidays. The scent transports me to a bygone era of hot drinks, sweet treats, and warm spices. Candles, wreaths, chandeliers, champagne, and diamonds - it's like stepping into a nostalgic holiday wonderland. This is one of my favorite cinnamon fragrances I've ever encountered. I think I'm most drawn to its unique blend of flowers and aldehydes, which melds beautifully with the vanilla. The projection is good, and it blooms as it warms up. While it may not have the same longevity as older formulations, it's still a beautiful scent that I'd happily reapply. This comforting, gorgeous fragrance feels like a nostalgic holiday trip while still being wearable today. It's the perfect blend of vintage and timeless, making me wonder why it didn't become a cult classic already. 🎉

I've been eager to try out this perfume for ages and finally managed to get my hands on a vintage bottle (or possibly a vintage one). Upon first spritzing, I'm struck by its strong resemblance to Oscar de la Renta, but with a slightly woodier undertone, if I recall correctly. The scent is an intriguing blend of powdery, woody, and aldehydic notes, featuring carnation, orris root, and subtle hints of other florals. While I sometimes find aldehydes overpowering, the resins and vanilla in this perfume thankfully keep them in balance. I'm keen to test this side by side with Oscar, but since I already adore Oscar (it was my paternal grandmother's signature scent), I have a strong affection for this one as well - mainly due to its nostalgic appeal and my growing fondness for classic perfumes in the era of modern fragrance trends. 🕊️💫
