I just got this and I love it. It smells like Billie Eilish perfume a lot. For the most part it is a pretty traditional vanilla oil, but the musk makes it more interesting. I find longevity and sillage to be moderate. Vanilla Musk is soft, warm, comforting and clean. For those, who like me, that are vanilla addicts...Kuumba Made Vanilla Bean Fragrance oil is the LONGEST lasting vanilla fragrance I have ever worn. A true love.
When I first got this I loved it. Very sweet and simple vanilla. Great for layering. But now I've had it a couple years and the sweet is almost completely overpowered by an animalic musk. It smells kind of dirty and unappealing. I'm keeping it on the off chance that it turns sweet again, but for now it's a scrubber! I will say that even soap and water doesn't get the smell off, so if you like it, that's probably a good trait.
Simple vanilla. I like it. I heard someone online describe it as, “not a a sexy vanilla but more like a granny vanilla”— words that I also agree with. I wouldn’t wear this by itself but I’d use this as a base and layer it with something else to give it more character. Can’t wait to create some killer scent combos with this.
This is one of the better vanilla fragrances for an amazing value, lasts a very long time and I’ve gotten several compliments from it. One thing to avoid is screwing the top on too tight because it becomes very hard to unscrew due to it’s shape. Beware if you plan to travel frequently with it because no matter how tight you screw it any amount of jostling around will have the oil somehow escape. If you do travel with it, stick it in a baggie and don’t get too attached to the label because it will disintegrate from the oil. If you avoid these things, you should have no problems with this fragrance oil.
