Just now wearing this again and thought I should review it. A generous gift from a Fragrantica friend....thank you! Starts of a bit awkward, but not bad. As it dries down - softly - it begins to melt together in a lovely way, bringing out the best of the vanilla, patch and benzoin. After a couple of hours, the sweet musk and some sandalwood come through and the perfume is a soft skin scent. Great for a cuddly bedtime scent.
Walked into the Molinard boutique on Rue St-Honoré and tried a few of the perfumes. I came away with the Figue that day, but was always thinking about the Vanille Patchouli as well. I normally wouldn't touch a patchouli scent, but this is soft and round and yummy. You can splash it on as much as you want, or combine it with something else, it's an amazing layer that creates warmth. Love it.
Hot white chocolate poured on a freshly baked wafer. Dense and daring. Difficult not to adore it! Decent longevity. The sillage is adequate; no issue with wearing this in the office. Overall 9/10.
Sweet smelling fragrance. I liked it, not as much as Vanille Fruitee but VF is more feminine and, though it states is unisex, I'm not sure if I could pull it so this one might suit me better, the only issue against buying it is that it reminded me immediately to my Muglers, so it may be a redundant scent. It does seem to have good longevity judging by the paper strip's lingering smell. Warning: forgot to review it the same day, I think is being now like 2 weeks.
Vanilla fruitcholi without the patchouli, if that makes sense. Like you know that fruity sweetness from clean feminine patchouli blend but without the cool earthy vibes that should be the main character in patchouli scents. The dry down on my skin is pure vanilla cake. Not a bad scent but not really what I expected either.
