Sparkling fresh with a scent reminiscent of lemongrass essential oil. Imagine Eau De Sud Annick Goutal as the grandmother and Verbene Loccitane as her lovely, youthful granddaughter - then you'll understand this perfume's essence. I highly recommend it without hesitation, making it an excellent choice for summer wear. However, its longevity is somewhat typical of citrus fragrances, not lasting exceptionally long.
In the scorching heat, the sweet and tangy lemon notes gradually give way to a refreshing herbal verbena aroma, which exudes an earthy and calming presence. Like many others have noted, its longevity is rather disappointing. Despite this, I'm still head over heels for Verveine's instant gratification – a true delight! 😊
If you're familiar with the distinct scent of Lockets Honey & Lemon cough sweets from the UK, this perfume may evoke similar notes. The citronella aroma is quite potent and could potentially be mistaken for a bug repellent by some individuals. If you're seeking a fresh, zesty, sweet lemon fragrance, this might not be the best fit. In contrast, Yves Rocher verveine offers a more neutral and affordable option that's suitable for blind purchases. However, it's essential to try this perfume first before committing to it, as personal preferences may vary. Unfortunately, I didn't connect with this scent.
This verbena bursts with the scent of freshly cut and squeezed lemon, evoking the tanginess of sour juice rich in vitamin C, a characteristic reminiscent of Erincess. However, the geranium subtly adds an alkaline note that echoes the flesh of ripe fruit lingering in a citrus press, creating an unexpectedly comforting aroma akin to a children's bedroom.
This perfume is a delightful representation of pure lemon candy! I have an immense affection for it, and my only concern is its limited longevity. However, it seems that this issue might be inherent to citruses in general. The sole potential drawback I can envision is if someone wants the scent to remain consistently like lemon candy, as it may evolve into something reminiscent of pledge or bathroom freshener over time.
