My wife loves everything raspberry. So, looking at the notes, I would typically blind buy this for her. However, there is a problem ... the name. I despise everything Hollywood; the town, the elitist attitudes, and most of all, the fake and sickening, narcissistic, soul-selling, devil-worshiping, child-raping pigs who work there. BIG PASS on this one!
This is extremely linear on me. The gardenia is so overwhelming, I can't smell anything else. I do find it similar to Michael by Michael Kors, with the main difference being this is linear gardenia, and Michael is linear tuberose. Interestingly, tuberose and gardenia often smell similar to me in fragrances and I often can't tell one from the other. This one is good if you love gardenia (or tuberose I suppose), but it's not my preference. I was wishing I would have loved this because the fragrance-filled cocktail ring is adorable!
Ahhh yes, we're into the first week of spring and i immediately went for very hollywood this week. This scent is so lovely, light....airy....soft gardenia, unoffensive, great for daily wear as well. It's just so pretty and feminine and smells heavenly in the rain. I love it. fyi, dont trust the bottle sniff, this one needs to be on the skin to really flourish. scent: 9.5 packaging: 9.5
My mom gave me this scent because she didn't like it...Its way too strong for me and I keep it in my room for decoration...Lets just say the bottle is very pretty.
