A perfect fragrance to trial at an airport while escaping London's autumn gloom for a tropical getaway! However, the availability of tester bottles in London is limited, which sparked my curiosity about its popularity. Upon testing, I found it to be nice and island-inspired, with notes of coconut and lime. Although pleasant, I was left underwhelmed by the scent, which dries down to a stale, fizzy candy-like aroma. In my opinion, you can find more lush and vacation-perfect fragrances elsewhere. Interestingly, the paper strip sample smelled better than the actual application on skin, although adding Royal water did yield some intriguing results that I'll need to re-test on my skin.
This perfume is a summer gem that deserves its place in your fragrance library! My friend generously shared 20ml of their 120ml bottle with me, leaving me utterly impressed. While Creed's perfumes may have some drawbacks in terms of performance and pricing, they undoubtedly craft distinct scent profiles that set them apart - incredibly smooth and unique, making dupes a common occurrence. Unfortunately, VIW doesn't have any well-known duplicates, probably due to its one-of-a-kind aroma. The fragrance is reminiscent of a refreshing pina colada with a hint of lime, leaving me speechless. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a fan - it's the perfect addition to my collection! If budget is no concern and you're looking for the ultimate summer scent, look no further. Rating: 9/10, only wishing for longer lasting fragrance 😊
I'm absolutely enchanted by the aroma of this perfume! One of my top choices, to be honest. Okay, I'll admit that the sillage isn't exceptional, nor is the longevity, but surprisingly, I can still detect a subtle hint on my skin even after almost 10 hours. It may not project strongly and fade away around 1.5-2 hours, but this scent is incredible if you adore coconut and tropical fragrances! 🌴💧
