Reviews

This is an amazing tuberose and osmanthus fragrance that gets a bad rap because it is horribly misnamed. This is no deadly python but the happiest aquatic snake frolicking through lily pads and lotus flowers. Tuberose can be very sweet and the addition of osmanthus and vanilla can threaten to be cloying but I find this quite beautiful and refreshing thanks to the peach, bergamot and orange blossom lending their crispness. Fragrantica indicates an animalic note but I detect none. Wild Python is inoffensive, inviting and very feminine. A scent that you feel beautiful in. Not my usual pick, but sometimes simple and sweet is enough.

I had been waiting for this perfume for a long time, especially for the presence of the osmanthus. And it is very effectively. I like it.

Could someone explain me why this name : « wild python »? (This is a serious question ^^) Because I think a lot of Mancera’s fragrance fit this name better (snake, and in particular python symbolize danger, sin, seduction, tentation etc. And I imagine something warm, spicy, maybe woody, in fact : something « poisonous ». Does someone have an idea?

This fragrance is sexy and beautiful omg I love it

I wanted to like this because I enjoy osmanthus (like in Montale Aoud Lagoon which I adore), jasmine, patchouli and musk. I likes LOUD. I thought this would've been an obvious hit. But alas...peach/osmanthus/vanilla doesn't work for me here. I love snakes and have handled many. This doesn't even remotely read serpentine. It reads too sweet and too powdery. Not enough of the animalic funk I likes to control the powdery. The sillage and longevity are great tho. Hard pass.
