Initially, I thought the scent was mislabeled due to the complete absence of the listed top notes from my experience. Instead, the opening is overwhelmingly dominated by strong licorice, anise, and minty notes that aren't particularly appealing to me. Interestingly, after researching online, I found I'm not alone in this perception. As it dries down, the fragrance undergoes a significant transformation, becoming much sweeter, creamier, and subtly spicy. The honey and vanilla accords start to emerge, which are pleasant and less overpowering than the initial blast. Despite Naxos having many facets, some of them quite appealing, its overall character is largely obscured by an unappealing licorice presence that I find unbearable.
I am thoroughly enchanted by this fragrance. Its charming quality and progression bring me immense joy. The aroma is sweet and remarkably intense in a lovely way, with notes of honey, lavender, and incense that I detect. A small dab from the sample on my wrist and chest is ideal; it's not overpowering at all. Although I understand that spraying it might be overwhelming for some, I am enamored with it and plan to purchase the full size as soon as possible.
One of the most impressive fragrances I've encountered, boasting a stunning combination of fresh vanilla and citrus notes at its onset, which seamlessly transitions into a rich honey and lavender dry-down that justifies its price tag.
I have a complex relationship with Naxos - sometimes I adore it, at other times I'm unsure. Even within a short span of hours, my feelings about this perfume can flip-flop. 🤯 The longevity is impressive for me, lasting over 12 hours most days. I appreciate its unique scent, which reminds me of Pure Havane by Mugler. The quality of the ingredients and presentation are also top-notch, as with all Xerjoff perfumes. 💯
🌸 A captivating blend of honey and tobacco notes creates a stunning fragrance that's perfect for year-round wear, with a special evening flair in the summer months. The scent is refreshingly crisp, smooth, and seductive, exuding a strong masculine presence. Its moderate sillage ensures a pleasant presence without overpowering, making three sprays more than sufficient. I'd give it a flawless 10/10! 😊
