Reviews

A fleeting explosion of sugary intensity that borders on tooth-tingling, followed by an ethereal whisper of mallow's tender pink hue lingering on the skin after 60 seconds. A delicate and refined pearly-golden aura indeed, leaving behind a silky smoothness that persists for an extended period.

Oily and fruity notes with a creamy sweetness, reminiscent of a tropical treat. The dry down is akin to the rich, velvety texture of Casmir.

It's surprisingly straightforward - just mint without any other significant ingredients like coconut, vanilla, or ylang-ylang. What's more, the fragrance lacks complexity due to a lack of depth despite its diverse note composition. 😐

Got a sample from Micallef's website with another fragrance purchase, and it's quite pleasant! Not convinced if it justifies a full-bottle purchase or not, maybe not worth the 100ml. I sought more affordable options, so I bought Chopard Casmir - to my senses, they share similarities, but Chopard has some vintage notes that bother me for the first 30-60 minutes. Ylang in Gold would be my preference.

I recently acquired a full bottle of this perfume as a blind buy and I'm struggling to understand the widespread enthusiasm for it. Upon initial application, the scent strikes me as artificial, lacking the complexity and nuance that others describe. The opening notes are reminiscent of sunscreen with a piercing sharpness (perhaps due to artemisia) and an unpleasantly musty quality, similar to patchouli in some perfumes. Fortunately, this aspect dissipates within 20 minutes, leaving behind a faint, juvenile scent of vanilla that's common in mass-market celebrity fragrances. I also detect artificial peach notes and white florals, with no coconut note that would suggest a fresh, realistic coconut accord. In contrast to Xerjoff's Dama Bianca, which is expertly blended and sophisticated, this perfume feels like a different league altogether. Not a safe blind buy in my opinion; test before committing, as it may not be worth the full price. If you're interested in this scent profile, look for discounts on MaxAroma or Jomashop instead.
