Elysium gets a lot of love from the fragrance community for occupying a middle ground between artistic niche fragrances and more typical fragrances. Elysium is a pass for me...but I like Zion. It shares some characteristics with Aventus (actually closer to some of the parfums vintage dupes). The ambergris accord in this is probably not of the same caliber as Elysium, but that note in here has more of a crisp edge and lingers more. Not much sillage here, but it lasts on skin. Not something I plan to purchase, but it is one of the better ones from this house.
I recently purchased this fragrance after noticing its popularity among Alexandria's offerings. I must say, I am quite satisfied with my purchase. It's a great scent for the office, exuding a sense of safety and familiarity. While it shares some similarities with CDNIM, it comes across more like a well-crafted flanker rather than a carbon copy. Unlike CDNIM's citrusy and bold projection, Zion is more subdued and refined, offering a laid-back vibe. Considering its affordable price point of $40, it's a fantastic option for those starting out with fragrances or looking for a reliable daily wear.
Own a lot of Niche, and this is my most complimented frag.
A cheaper version of the Elysium dna. Elysium smells very very complex and luxurious, while this one is more simplistic and have that typical for dupe houses smell of ... Unfortunately cheap ingredients. Definitely love the dry down. It gives a hint of that luxury feeling from the original Elysium. But just a hint. Initial opening is very cheap smelling, just to let you know. Very overpriced fragrance from Alexandria. 100ml for around £70 is too much. 8.3/10
Haven’t had the chance to try Roja but this certainly has Aventus DNA. As a lover of Aventus, I can’t help loving this too but still can’t help admonishing at myself as to why buy another Aventus dup when already have so many bottles of other Aventusish perfumes. A great value for your money when compared to Aventus price.
