Reviews

The epitome of perfumery mastery. This perfume embodies opulence in a bottle, with an exceptional quality that is hard to match. It's truly remarkable, undoubtedly the most impressive fragrance I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The opening notes of warm spices, jasmine, and carnation smoothly transition into ylang-ylang, then settle into rich sandalwood and birch-like woods, all enveloped in a sumptuous amber that exudes refinement. My words cannot do justice to its sophisticated charm. While I appreciate affordable scents (I'm particularly fond of Al Haramain's Excellent, which is astonishingly inexpensive), there's no denying the luxurious aroma of this perfume. I'm struggling to find the right words to describe it. This fragrance boasts impressive longevity and an enormous presence.

A subtle blend of resinous amber that unfolds with a smooth quality, accompanied by a sweet undertone that emerges gradually. Upon experiencing the scent, I found it essential to apply generously to fully appreciate its nuances, which reminded me of certain notes present in Ambre Loup and another Lubin fragrance whose name escapes me at the moment.

It's an unusual combination! The initial scent is reminiscent of grape Dimetapp and Pez candy, accompanied by a strong presence of carnation, which isn't my cup of tea. To be honest, the dry-down eludes me because I'm washing this off as soon as possible. While the quality and longevity are likely fine, this one isn't for me. I wouldn't advise buying it blind unless you're a fan of carnation, in which case go ahead – but I'll be passing my sample along to a colleague instead. Not my best impression.

Scent gentleman is elegantly suited for evening formal gatherings, making it an excellent choice for mature adults in their 30s, who appreciate its sophisticated essence as one of Xerjoff's finest creations. I'm planning to stock up on a reserve bottle, assuming this refined fragrance remains unchanged and isn't reformulated, despite the updated packaging design.

Have you noticed any changes in the new packaging? Does it affect the scent's longevity or strength? 🤔
