Reviews

To me, this fragrance is reminiscent of a makeup drawer's subtle essence, with notes of elegant powderpuff and crushed lipstick blending together in a sensual way that evokes images of silky smooth fabrics and an updo hairstyle. Despite its cleanliness, it still possesses a certain edge or "bite" that I find quite alluring, which is why I struggle to understand the negativity surrounding this scent.

Oh my, the perfume unfolds beautifully with an explosion of sweet bubble gum-like notes from the peach and apple combination. I'm particularly impressed by the presence of violet, which is balanced by subtle hints of tea and a whisper of jasmine. Violet takes center stage for me, and I must confess that I have a soft spot for it.

Artemisia is a masterpiece, with no imperfections or weaknesses. If Snow White had a scent, this would surely be it. It's as if you're breathing in the essence of a perfect spring day, where warmth and sweetness converge in harmony. This fragrance is far from naive or innocent; instead, it exudes wise, humble goodness. It's a breath of fresh air that diverges significantly from other scents with no distinct personalities. This perfume emits a beautiful aroma that lingers around you, leaving behind subtle memory trails wherever you go. Its divine essence isn't shrouded by powdery or musky notes, vanillas, ambers, florals, or citrus. While it shares some similarities with Cashmere Mist, the latter is heavily influenced by strong musk and powder, whereas Artemisia strikes a perfect balance. I struggle to pinpoint its exact notes, but it's undeniably creamy, green, sweet, and light, yet lasting and boasting impressive longevity. It exhibits subtle acidity, which remains neutral throughout. The initial spray is bright and green with a tangy quality, while the middle note is more powdery and sweet. The drydown is expertly mixed, blending sweet, light, crisp notes with a substantial presence. All I can say is that this fragrance is absolutely enchanting...I adore it deeply. It leaves me feeling self-assured yet self-aware – a true beauty. Update: With time, Artemisia only gets better; wear it on your skin throughout the night and wake up to an alluring scent. Even spraying it on clothing yields a glorious aroma that lingers for weeks.

I find this scent appealing, with a rich, creamy, and powdery quality reminiscent of Guerlain's signature style, possibly due to the presence of oakmoss. The overall effect is warm and comforting, though unfortunately, its longevity on my skin is limited, lasting only a few hours before fading away in a linear progression.

I adore Artemisia as it reminds me of Cashmere Mist by Donna Karan, two scents that share a striking similarity - nearly indistinguishable from one another, with PAdorai seeming slightly sweeter yet still charming nonetheless. It's intriguing to see a contemporary designer fragrance presented in such a Victorian-inspired packaging.
