Aura Mugler Eau de Toilette

Since this perfume is being discontinued in 2020, I was fortunate enough to find it at a discounted price at our local store and added it to my collection... feeling grateful to have acquired this lovely packaging. As for the fragrance... it's an unremarkable blend of sour and tart notes, which feel artificial and lack the lushness of the EdP. Honestly, I'm not a fan. On a scale from 1 to 10, I'd rate it a 5 - it's too cluttered and synthetic, and its poor sales performance confirms my disappointment.

This scent is quite fascinating and unique. It begins with a very green and fresh aroma, reminiscent of freshly cut grass after a rain shower, but with a rounded quality rather than being overly zesty. I'm convinced I detect hints of rhubarb lurking in the background, although that might just be my imagination at play. As it evolves, it settles into an equal blend of green and fruity-floral notes, possibly featuring pear, before taking on a peculiar undertone with a slightly bitter and medicinal quality. While it's almost perfect, this aspect prevents me from fully embracing it. The vanilla element is subtle, adding only a touch of smoothness to the overall impression. The fragrance displays average longevity and sillage, but its innovative nature makes it an intriguing discovery. Although I wouldn't consider purchasing it, I did enjoy my sample.

This scent is reminiscent of Aura Mugler for those new to perfumery. It's a fresh, fruity, green, and vibrant fragrance that presents itself as approachable and welcoming. If you enjoy this one, I'd recommend exploring further by trying the more complex Aura Mugler.

I had high expectations for this perfume, unfortunately it didn't meet them 😐. The scent strikes me as noticeably synthetic, with a chaotic blend that's surprisingly soft 🌿. For my nose, it smells like a cheap musk fragrance with some green undertones and airy patchouli notes ✨. While I think the EDP is an improvement, it still feels too mature for my taste 👀. In comparison, I prefer Gypsy Water by Byredo or Fig Tea by Nikolai - much better choices 💯. Not recommended 🚫. If you're looking for something light and slightly green, Gucci Bamboo is a good alternative 😊.
