Either you adore it or despise it, I'm completely enamored!
The original composition is indeed enriched by the woody accords. In contrast, I prefer the original formula for its airy, sun-kissed quality, which strikes a perfect balance between freshness and sweetness.
Tried a sample of BR540 recently and absolutely adored it. Fell asleep with my nose buried in my wrist kind of adore. Have tested numerous dupes (I'm just not willing to splurge on a scent), and only today had the chance to try Cloud 2.0 (also known as Cloud). To my sense of smell, both Cloud 2.0 and BR540 Intense are identical twins, with Cloud 2.0 being stronger and longer-lasting. I'm terrible at identifying notes, so I'll simply say that I'm crazy about it and wholeheartedly recommend it to those who can't afford the original BR540 👌
A fragrance with an initial lavender prominence that's slightly pungent, gradually transitioning to a rich, sweet coconut-inspired floral scent with prominent lactonic notes. The aroma feels airy and dense, dominated by musks, with ambroxan playing a significant role in creating a sharpness that subsides as creamy cashmere and subtle wood undertones emerge.
The subtle allure of the Intense Cloud is hard to resist. While I adore the classic Cloud and have repurchased it numerous times, I've found myself drawn to its intensified counterpart more often lately. Whenever I crave the Cloud scent, I now instinctively reach for the Intense version, as if magnetically attracted. The differences between the two are so minute that even when smelling them in the air, it's challenging to pinpoint what makes the intense one superior.
