This perfume lacks distinctiveness, failing to stand out from the crowd with its floral and fruity notes. I don't sense any personality in its aroma, which makes it hard for me to relate to. In contrast to Yellow Diamond, this one is much more potent and overpowering. To be honest, it reminds me of a typical 90's "Walmart Perfume" - the kind that instantly screams cheap. While it does linger all day if you enjoy its style, I find myself struggling with its overall scent.
This fragrance exudes a sweet similarity to gummy candies in its aroma, both immediately after application and as the scent settles over time. Nevertheless, I find myself drawn to it.
I was surprised to discover that on reapplication, this perfume reveals its fruity and citrusy characteristics, which I initially missed. It seems my senses were temporarily dulled by the array of scents I had recently sampled. Previously, I appreciated it; now, I find myself enamored with its uplifting quality, which has a profound impact on my mood.
This perfume presents itself as a lovely summer fragrance with a pleasant citrus note that's not too sweet. It shares similarities with D&G Light Blue, albeit sweeter in character, with a simple, fun, and uplifting vibe. Nevertheless, its performance is utterly disappointing – it barely projects and vanishes rapidly. At this point, it feels like an expensive body mist.
I've just experienced my initial impression after acquiring a gently used 100ml bottle at an unbeatable price. This blind purchase was driven by reviews I've read online, and the $100 discount from the retail price significantly influenced my decision. As this is my first Versace perfume, I had no prior expectations. The packaging and bottle are truly impressive, exuding a sense of luxury that's characteristic of the brand.
