Givenchy pour Homme

I had a pleasant initial experience with this perfume 👌. Upon closer inspection, I detected subtle notes of cardamom 🎃. While it bears some resemblance to Blue Label, unfortunately, its longevity leaves something to be desired on my skin ⏰.

When I applied the fragrance to my skin, I detected a distinctly synthetic quality that was quite surprising, considering the prestige brand behind it - Givenchy.

Bought this perfume for my father and he absolutely adores it. The scent is remarkably fresh and has excellent longevity, leaving a lingering impression even after application. I would highly recommend this fragrance to men who smoke heavily, as its ability to linger on clothing is impressive.

I must respectfully disagree with the classification of this perfume as a citrus fragrance - upon sniffing, I detect prominent notes of olibanum and cedar, which overpower any potential coriander or vetiver undertones. As a woman who's inexplicably drawn to this scent, I find it incredibly sensual, woody, and alluring. Wearing Givenchy pour Homme makes me feel empowered, energetic, and affectionate towards others - an unusual but delightful phenomenon! When I wear this perfume, I become a nicer person overall. What's more, the sillage on my skin is unusually long-lasting.

I almost overlooked this perfume in my collection, but a sudden urge to mix things up led me to rediscover it. Upon spraying it on my neck and jacket, something remarkable occurred – several women in an elevator complimented me on how lovely I smelled. This has never happened before. Later, while shopping at the supermarket, a young woman approached me, asking about the fragrance, praising its wonderful scent. She even recognized the bottle, which is certainly memorable. Notably, my bottle is from 2011, so I'm unsure if new formulations have altered the perfume's characteristics. Despite having spent considerable sums on high-end perfumes marketed as "Compliment Pullers" (BDC, Sauvage, Layton, Aventus, and more), I've never received unsolicited compliments from strangers until this day.
