Bought it because reviews mentioned its similarity to Hot Couture, having previously tried HC edp. While similar in the drydown, I Am has less pepper and a fresher scent. I'm waiting for my HC edt version to update this review later.
I dislike this perfume, its overly sweet and fruit-forward scent reminds me of something mass-produced. The brand has released many superior scents in the past; I would recommend exploring those instead.
This perfume offers an intriguing blend of mild sweetness and unexpected bitterness, a refreshing departure from the typical scents that dominate the market today. However, I'm disappointed by its exorbitant price point and the fact that it fades away quickly, leaving no lasting impression. Ultimately, I had to rule out this option due to these significant drawbacks.
To my nose, this perfume is reminiscent of a lighter iteration of Coco Mademoiselle, Miracle Lancome, and Elie Saab Royal. While not an exact replica, it shares similar qualities. I appreciate its fresh, clean, tangy, and spicy notes, yet for me, it lacks sweetness and feels almost austere - the packaging accurately reflects its character. It's suitable for professional or academic settings, but personally, I prefer scents with more complexity and emotional resonance, like Eisenberg's Cuir D'Orient.
The scent initially presents with a subtle burst of raspberry notes, leaving me curious about its future development. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be projecting well, and I'm concerned that it may disappear relatively soon. 😐
