Reviews

I enjoyed the initial impression - this perfume has a masculine quality to its scent, with notes that are dark, deep, warm, and sophisticated. Men have complimented me on its aroma, which is reminiscent of tobacco, wood, and spices. While it's pleasing and warm, I wouldn't say it's particularly striking.

Do people think that this perfume shares similarities with D&G By Woman? The fragrance notes do appear to be quite comparable.

This perfume shares some familiar notes with Black by Bulgari, boasting a masculine twist that's incredibly alluring. While I adore its sultry vibe, I'm left wishing it was more widely available, especially considering the hefty price tag and limited bottle size. 😏

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this perfume, so let me just get it out of the way - yes, it's quite similar to Living by Lalique! However, whereas Living sometimes veers into a slightly musty or overwhelming direction, this one is more wearable and has a softer, more feminine quality. Some might describe it as "femme fatale", but I think that label oversimplifies things; this scent is daringly unique, not seductive in the classical sense of rose or oud. It's the star of the show - not too loud, not too overpowering, but distinct enough to make an impression. And yet, it also has a cozy aspect to it, thanks to that irresistible lavender-tonka-amber combination that always gets me hooked. What I mean is that this perfume is a chameleon, adapting effortlessly to any situation you're in - whether you need something fresh and light or dark and mysterious, it's got you covered.

A harmonious blend of soothing, contemplative amber with a subtle touch of gold, indeed. The herbal liqueur opening note is fleeting, dissolving into the rich patchouli, seamlessly blending with the remaining notes as it reaches its drydown. This exceptional fragrance, J'ose, strikes a perfect balance between richness and lightness, making it an absolute delight to wear. I'm impressed that it lacks sweetness, yet still manages to be one of the few ambers I can wear without fatigue. The initial liquid consistency has lost some sharpness over time, but its golden amber character remains, infused with mossy, coffee-like undertones and a generous helping of powder.
