Reviews

I discovered this perfume at Sephora and wasn't initially impressed, but it won me over with time ๐ŸŒผ This scent is reminiscent of roses and orange-flavored marshmallow, with a sweet quality that's not overpowering like some gourmand fragrances. Although the citrus notes dissipate somewhat in the dry down, I still appreciate its lovely floral/orange-marshmallow combination ๐Ÿ‘ƒ The only drawback is that Oriana by PDM shares similarities with this perfume, so it might be worth testing both before making a purchase ๐Ÿ’ธ

As a self-proclaimed gourmand enthusiast, I'm surprised by how overwhelmingly sweet this perfume is. Upon application, it's like being hit with grape syrup - the initial burst is intense and almost overwhelming. Due to its sheer strength, I had to spray it into the air rather than directly onto my skin. Unfortunately, the sweetness dominates any discernible notes, leaving me feeling like I'm smelling nothing but sugar.

As it stands, this perfume has become my go-to signature fragrance. While sweet scents can sometimes trigger headaches for me, my body chemistry surprisingly pairs well with ultra-sweet fragrances, even non-sweet ones take on a sweet tone when applied to my skin. This particular scent is extremely sugary, reminiscent of powdered sugar and candied orange, with subtle floral notes - it's undoubtedly not for everyone, but I adore it, consistently returning to its charm. If you're intrigued by the powdery sweetness, I recommend seeking out the powdery pink Turkish delight note, which bears a resemblance to the scent of that iconic pink gum tape.

This fragrance has an unusual scent profile on me, reminiscent of orange and vanilla ice cream, although not one that I particularly enjoy. Nonetheless, I'm confident it would suit certain individuals with suitable skin chemistry.

I'm absolutely enamored with this perfume - I never want to lose its alluring scent! ๐Ÿ’•
