I adore tuberose, but initially, I found this one to be just average for me. As a blind buy, I expected to fall head over heels in love with it since it's a tuberose perfume, yet it had an oily quality that threw me off. The scent is still lovely and clean, just not what I was expecting. 6/10 ------------------------- However, after four days of wear, the scent has evolved, and I now appreciate its incredible richness in tuberose. My initial perception of an oily smell turned out to be a testament to the masterful blending of this perfume. It's truly sensual and voluptuous. I'd even go so far as to call it a modern-day masterpiece.
Michael Kors is a concentrated tuberose scent with a dense, lotion-like creaminess that has an oily undertone. The fragrance's main attraction is the prominent tuberose note, which is accompanied by additional white floral notes that add depth to the scent. A subtle orris note stands out from the rest, bringing a woody, green, and earthy quality to the perfume.
Upon initial application, I'm perplexed by the overpowering presence of tuberose and intense florals. However, my curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to give it a chance. To my surprise, I've grown accustomed to its unique character and now wear it daily with great enthusiasm.
I'm fond of tuberose fragrances, yet for some reason, this particular scent isn't quite resonating with me. If only I could pinpoint the specific ingredient or note causing the discord.
This perfume isn't unpleasant, but to me, it comes across as mature, characterized by its intense floral notes of white tuberose, which also evoke a sweet, fruity scent reminiscent of bubblegum and banana candies. The tamarind and incense aspects that initially drew my attention are not prominent in this fragrance. Tuberose enthusiasts may appreciate this perfume, which has an expensive, elegant quality to it, but unfortunately, it failed to captivate me. The overall impression is similar to that of a high-end hotel soap.
