A light, bright, feminine floral fragrance highlighting the Mimosa note, evoking feelings of freshness and innocence like a girl in a sundress in a garden picking flowers. It possesses a sweet quality similar to sunlight, making one smile despite its 'good girl' vibe being too light for personal preference. The dry down includes cedarwood and makes for a pleasant summer scent.
It was a lucky blind buy, no regrets. Smells like sunshine bottled up. The mimosa is portrayed gently, subtly, and realistically. It feels very feminine and refined.
Green especially at first although it calms down in a few minutes. Slightly sweet mimose mixed with powdery violet leaves and just a touch of warmth and sweetness from the vanilla. Very green interpretation of mimose, I wish it lasted longer however. Not great on longevity for such expensive a scent.
Mimosa, or wattyl in Australia surely must be the hardest scent to replicate. In nature， it is sweet and powdery with an ethereal quality that brings balance, depth and softness. Mimosa Pour Moi captures mimosa essence but like many other mimosa perfumes tends to overemphasize sweetness which makes it too sickly for my nose. If you are not familiar with mimosa in nature I would think this is a pretty floral scent with good longevity around 6 hours or more. I generally accept artistic interpretation of flowers like rose, jasmine and gardenia but find that when it comes to mimosa wattyl especially I am very particular. Thanks Scorpiosheep for the sample!
The initial aroma closely resembles -Oscar de Larenta, yet feels more organic. On me it evokes an elegant chestnut paste, , not too sugary, with a sensual touch., I enjoy it specifically during particular emotional states..
