Reviews

I savored wearing this perfume, but a slight drawback was that the musky notes lingered on my skin all day, even after a light application to my wrist. The strength of these notes is striking, yet I'm unsure whether those around me would notice. Like Phlur's other scents, it stirred nostalgic feelings in me, albeit not as vividly as with previous fragrances I've tried. Incidentally, I suspect this perfume might be a dupe of Another 13 by Le Labo, as they share an uncanny similarity and many of my friends struggle to detect any distinct differences between them.

This perfume captures the essence of skin scents I adore, but with a nostalgic twist. To enhance its wear and projection, I'd recommend applying it to clothing. While some have likened it to JHAG, I don't see the resemblance beyond both being musky fragrances; JHAG has a metallic quality, whereas Missing Person has a salty undertone that I find appealing. This scent has a unique ability to evoke feelings of joy and warmth, reminiscent of those who've passed or whom we hold dear - it's an uplifting experience overall.

With the excitement of a recent departure still lingering in the air, I'm left with a solitary 1.5 hour drive ahead, providing an ideal opportunity to unwind.

To me, the essence of this fragrance seems elusive - I'm struggling to detect the promised notes. Instead, I mainly smell a subtle musk and cashmeran, which, although pleasant, isn't enough to impress me. Unless you adore how it smells on you and don't mind its fleeting nature, I wouldn't recommend it. For me, the scent is merely decent, and if a perfume is going to be so subtle and short-lived at that price point, it needs to be absolutely captivating. Unfortunately, this one falls flat in every way. I'm glad I opted for a trial size!

I am absolutely enthralled by this fragrance, exceeding my expectations in every way. Despite its "grandma"-like quality, I find myself enamored with it. I often abhor orange blossom and neroli notes, but this scent has won me over. It's become a staple for unwinding on Sundays or cozy movie nights. This fragrance exudes comforting warmth, softly woody undertones, and a gentle soapy quality. The packaging is elegant, featuring a heavy, magnetic stone cap that adds to its sophistication. I appreciate the vegan and cruelty-free formula, as well as the thoughtful name. Upon application, it's reminiscent of stepping out of a warm bubble bath - the perfect blend of musk and freshness. The color is beautifully executed, matching the exact hue of the juice. However, I'm disheartened by its disappointing longevity; even a few minutes' wear is rare for this scent. Given its $96 price tag (and lack of frequent sales), I'm reluctantly acknowledging that its fleeting nature renders it less than ideal. If Phlur offered a body mist version, I'd likely indulge in it frequently.
