Narciso EDP is my go-to fragrance so I decided to try this one out. The EDT has comparable longevity but I find it to be a gentler, more powdery-floral interpretation that's perfect for daytime and warm weather conditions. In this version, the musk takes a backseat while the peony and rose take center stage on my skin. Unfortunately, roses have a propensity to trigger headaches in me. What a shame! Nonetheless, it's still a beautiful scent.

Here is the rewritten comment: In 2014, a new pillar of women's fragrances was introduced by Narciso Rodriguez. The debut of Narciso Eau de Parfum on a white cube sparked curiosity, but beneath the surface, it aimed to disrupt the competition. The attention-grabbing launch in mid-2015 of Narciso Eau de Toilette, now packaged in a black cube with white letters, presented an opposite aesthetic, mirroring the "For Her" line's design. The fragrance revealed the brand's plans for this collection: to maintain the musk at its core and the woody base featuring cedars and vetiver. The subtle yet striking change aimed to set the tone, replacing gardenia with peony, which became a more radiant presence in an Eau de Toilette. 🌹 The olfactory pyramid consists of Bulgarian rose and peonies at the top; Musk in the body; Vetiver and extracts of white and black cedar at the base. Classified as musky-floral-woody (in contrast to the previous woody-floral-musky version), this fragrance has transitioned from an ancient soul to a modern, youthful style. The rose now takes center stage, accompanied by peony's subtle floral undertones. Amber is absent in this flanker, and the musk is more pronounced and wild. It's essentially the same scent, but with a fresh makeover. The same woman emerges, reimagined with updated looks and confidence. Narciso Eau de Toilette offers an excellent variation from its predecessor and I love how it showcases continuity while still offering something new. Some may view changing just one note or another in a fragrance line as lacking creativity, but for me, it's about capturing the nuances of a person through scent – like a TV show makeover, where they get a fresh new look! 💄 The creamy and indolic notes are gone, replaced by a powdery profile that no longer exists. If this was an issue before, you're in luck! However, this Eau de Toilette edition defies the common assumption that EDTs tend to be more airy than EDPs. It lasts long but doesn't leave a powerful trail like Narciso Eau de Parfum does. Black or white? It's up to personal preference – for Narciso, it's both! After all, we all have days when we're light and others when we're dark. 😊

I'm methodically savoring my large sample bottle, initially unaware that it would be discontinued, so now I'm meticulously rationing my sprays. There's still a smaller bottle stashed away for safekeeping. This fragrance truly resonates with me; its longevity on my skin is impressive and remains consistent without shifting.

This is truly exceptional. Delicate musk and peony harmonize beautifully with the rose, white cedar, and vetiver, creating a synergy that's simply sublime. I find this fragrance has a profoundly calming impact, leaving me in a state of serenity. Perfumes like this remind me why I continue to test numerous scents - when I discover one that evokes an emotional response, all the effort is justified. This gem goes straight into my "paradise found" collection and will undoubtedly be under the Christmas tree this year.

I adore the Narciso EDP in its pure form, yet I find it can become overwhelming during warmer seasons. The EDT is an ingenious solution to this issue, offering the same luscious creamy woody musk as its counterpart, but with a revitalized rose core that is more radiant and airy. This fragrance strikes an excellent balance between adaptability and distinctiveness, making it every bit as captivating as the original. ❤️
