Reviews

My favorite fragrance. Ever.

This fragrance, at a whiff, reminds me of Vetiver Tonka, but it is so much more. The performance is incredible on my skin and I must honestly admit I'm really shocked at just how many people go simply gaga over this. Highly recommended.

This is one of my all time favorite vetiver fragrances. Very classy but can be worn casually as well. I've never worn this without recieving multiple compliments. Vetiver coffee and tonka and last a good 6 hrs plus til the next day on clothing. Also great for those who thi k they don't like vetiver.

It’s funny to me this leans more unisex, could be enjoyed by women and men alike. This is like a more complex, more dark “Replica Jazz Club” with a much stronger pipe tobacco note.

What if Bois Doré by Van Cleef & Arpels and Bal D’Afrique by Byredo had a baby? Im betting it would smell like Nuit de Megeve. Take the best notes from each: a vetiver and tonka dominant opening and drydown and you essentially have Megeve. On my skin it’s linear but I love the scent so it doesn’t matter. Usually I struggle with tobacco, but here it’s blended well and it plays only a supporting role. After knowing that grapefruit and pettigrain are in the mix, I beleive I can also pick them both up. Everything is here to support the two dominant notes, mixed lightly. I can’t isolate anything else, nothing is standing out beside vetiver and tonka. Really good performance too. Just one spray to the wrist and this projected over an hour. If I didn’t already have the other two perfumes mentioned above, I would be testing this more for consideration. (In fact, I think I may like this better). For now, Eight & Bob is on my radar.
