Notes

A captivating fragrance! A rich vanilla accord pairs with woody notes, elevated by a subtle sweetness from lemon and blueberry. The fruitiness is sophisticated and refined, while the earthy undertones are truly delightful. Although I find the scent slightly overpowering if applied liberally, I can understand why this perfume has generated so much buzz.
I must admit, this perfume didn't quite live up to my expectations. I waited with bated breath for three weeks to receive my sample, convinced I would adore it. On initial inspection on paper, I thought "meh". But after an hour, re-sniffing the scent, I found myself growing more fond of it. However, when I applied it to my skin, I was taken aback - it smelled unpleasantly pungent to me, making me wish I could scrub it off with a cheese grater. After an hour, the fragrance settled on my skin and improved, yet this final result wasn't worth the olfactory ordeal it took to get there. Unfortunately, it still didn't win me over. Though many others seem to adore it, perhaps my skin chemistry has something to do with why I don't connect with it as strongly.
I'm not picking up on any blueberry notes. This perfume actually reminds me of MJ Decadence and Floral Street Wild Vanilla Orchid, with a prominent green woody vanilla scent. The longevity is impressive, lasting well over 8 hours.
The initial impression upon spraying is earthy and reminiscent of soil, but as it settles on the skin, it reveals a surprisingly sweet and distinctive aroma.
I have it and adore it, but I think many people overlook that POB is actually a gourmand scent. Where's the blueberry? Instead, I detect pickled lemons in a sweet vanilla water mixture, infused with the smoky aroma of mesquite charcoal from a fragrant BBQ oven. Unisex in design, yet leaning towards femininity. A delightful finishing touch before heading out on a crisp fall or winter day, perhaps even on a cool spring morning. I'll also caution that the alchemy of summer can significantly alter this fragrance's character.
