Quorum Silver

If there's an underrated fragrance, that's Quorum Silver...it's not good, it's great! I presented this EDT to my brother last Saturday and, when I found out how good it was, I thought I should have bought another one for myself (or kept the one I gave to him, he he he!). Upon spraying, you can feel a blow of cedar, ginger, and lavender that is superb; its aroma is classic, but by no means is it dated. Two hours later, the citrus starts to subside and the woods become the protagonist alongside nutmeg and cinnamon. In the final phase, the cedar gets reinforced by account of guaiac and vetiver, and it stays the same until the perfume fades out. Quorum Silver, like I said, is so nice that you wouldn't mind buying it for a higher price--there are hundreds of perfumes that sell for steep prices and aren't half as good as this one is. I might buy myself a bottle on upcoming days because, trust me, it is that good! It's also safe and versatile, which makes it a good blind buy. A blind buy for me, but I wouldn't have been disappointed had it cost more than twice the price. I bought this for three reasons: the main notes listed in the fragrance, the good reviews here, and because I was looking for a predominantly cedar scent. The cedar is the dominant note on my skin, but the amber, mild patchouli, ginger, and nutmeg aren't too far behind the cedar. I can't detect any noticeable citrus, floral, or pepper in this--and maybe they are there just enough to keep this interesting and balanced...averting a feeling of too much of any one note. Yes: this is marketed to men, but I believe it's lovely for a woman who craves the very natural notes of a scent that is refreshing, realistic, and outdoorsy. It's a real comfort scent on me, and I often spritz a bit before I retire at night. Comfortable as it may be: the longevity is impressive (6-8 hours) with moderate sillage. I am always thrilled to find quality scents, but especially quality scents at such a fantastic price. I will most definitely repurchase this, and likely so in the near future. This is one of many fragrances where I think the price will skyrocket once people become more aware of it's outstanding qualities. Enjoy!

This one is a pleasant surprise Very woody with a bright and quite spicy opening Dries down very nicely if not a little bit linear There are shades at times of a Gucci Envy hint (a good thing) and the Woodsy stuff is very definite mainly being Cedar bound I can sense pepper and maybe a touch of Patchouli but the general effect is a Cedar/Pencil Shavings kind of Woods effect with some Citrus adding a little brightness This lasts a long time on my skin ie up to 6 hrs and projects well for maybe 3-4 hrs At its price i cant recall many other fragrances i've tried which have this quality and a deep woodsy sillage Well worth a try

This was on my "to get" list for a while and I found a gift set with a 3.4oz EdT and a 3.4oz Aftershave for only $10 at TJ's. Like Quorum and Aqua Quorum this is quality juice at an incredible price. I love cedar and Quorum Silver is one of the nicest cedar fragrance I have come across so far. I am very happy with this purchase and I would highly recommend this as well as Quorum and Aqua Quorum.

#69 in my "Tour de Fragrance of 250 scents in 250 days, and another "30 under $30" pick that's almost a winner. To my nose original Quorum is kind of brutal. If you have body odor, original Quorum will absolutely mask it. To original Quorum everything's a nail and it's a hammer. I admit I kinda liked its aggressive masculinity in the same way I used to like Jade East, English Leather and Brut, but it's Brut-ally dated today. Silver is a very different scent. It's smooth and silky in its opening. Really not a flanker to original Quorum. It's fresh without the bite of original. The cinnamon is subtle and delicious here. This might get by as a date night fragrance, while original is definitely not. Nice scent at a great price but be advised. If you aren't into cedar, which becomes dominant and almost exclusive an hour into dry down, this will not suit you. For myself, I'm very over the scent of pencil sharpener, so this is going in the box I'm shipping to the men's shelter.
