Too much rose? A miss for me.

Patchouli with a sparkly twist. Vibrant imagery: a hippy picnic, with drum beats and dance flows. Dominantly patchouli, sandalwood, and rose. The dry-down phase has more musk than vanilla. Usually, I don't care for patchouli, but this one is a keeper. Pricey, though. Post-shower, there's a lingering black currant scent—wine-like and quite nice. It seems to blend rose and patchouli beautifully. Vanilla isn't as prominent on me. This reminds me of Chanel's Coco Noir, though it's different. Richwood is better, but the vibe is similar.

The initial notes have a strong medicinal and powdery quality, yet I personally don’t find this appealing. I believe the rose scent is overpowering the sandalwood and patchouli notes, which is what I was hoping to experience more of. As the fragrance settles, the sandalwood becomes more prominent. However, I had hoped for a stronger presence of spicy patchouli to give it a more masculine edge, though I didn’t detect its presence significantly. It’s underwhelming.

I really love this fragrance. It's the one I was meant to get instead of Uden. I'm not impressed by Uden at all—it’s just like Desire Red by Dunhill. If anyone wants to trade my Uden, which still has about 99% juice left and comes with its box, I’m definitely interested. I’d love to add Richwood or Shunkoin to my collection instead.

This is an amazing scent, but its cost feels excessively high—so much so that I'd only be willing to spend up to $200 for a full bottle. Anything above that simply doesn't justify the price tag, and you're not getting your money's worth.
