Blind buy on a flight 🛬. What a lovely surprise! 😊 I used to wear Miss Dior Chérie l'Eau back in the day and was devastated when it got discontinued 💔. Since then, I've been searching for a replacement and settled on Chanel Chance l'Eau, but it still didn't cut it 🤔. First sniff of Sheer Beauty, pure bliss because it reminds me so much of my beloved Miss Dior Chérie l'Eau (I still keep the empty bottle to take whiffs from time to time 😊). The projection is decent, but longevity is sadly lacking ❓ I need to reapply several times before heading out 🕰️. Nonetheless, it's an inoffensive, office-friendly scent perfect for warmer weather ☀️.

At first, a bold and sharp accord gives way to a soft, powdery nuance, making for a reliable choice that can be trusted even without prior knowledge of its scent.

This perfume is truly lovely, but its longevity holds it back from being exceptional. While it doesn't break new ground and has similarities to other floral fresh fragrances, it's still a delightful fresh fruity-floral scent perfect for hot summer days that's non-offensive and evolves into a mostly floral with a light clean musky vibe before settling into a soft sweet and musky skin scent. The peony component gives it an initial sharpness, but I find this appealing; if you don't like peonies in your fragrances, the sharpness doesn't last long, leaving only freshness behind. Unfortunately, this perfume doesn't last on my skin and is even weaker when applied to clothing, with no projection or evolution of the scent. For someone who dislikes the initial sharpness, reapplying might be an issue; for me, it's just inconvenient and feels like I'm getting a product that should be stronger. Considering the price, it's not unreasonable to have to reapply. This perfume is suitable for most occasions, excluding very formal settings, with a very feminine "girl next door" vibe that would suit teachers or those in office or medical settings where strong scents are discouraged.

I'm still undecided about this perfume! While I appreciate its unique blend of sharp, citrusy notes upfront, reminiscent of bathroom cleaners 😷. However, as it dries down, the scent becomes incredibly refreshing 🌞 and even mouthwatering, with bergamot and peony taking center stage 🎉. I'm not convinced it's truly bergamot, but rather a more tart citrus like yuzu or grapefruit 🤔. The drydown is lovely, evoking orange creamsicle, but with a sour twist 😊. Fans of Coco Mad's grapefruit note and Bright Crystal might enjoy this too 👀. I'm giving Sheer Beauty some time to grow on me before making a final decision ⏰, but I suspect it will be especially delightful come summer ☀️!

When I apply this scent, it instantly transports me to a crisp morning atmosphere, evoking images of a stylish woman elegantly draped in a man's loose-fitting white shirt with billowy sleeves, exuding confidence and femininity.
