How about those apples... 🤮🤮? The blend of apples, tobacco, and smoke is such a total turnoff. I would definitely not buy this blindfolded—it’s all I can think about. It’s not for me at all. First impression, and that's it.
Sniffing it like it’s inside a bag of apple tobacco, this fragrance feels a bit overpowering for me. Still, it’s definitely a good scent overall. I’d say give it a sniff before you commit to buying!

I feel like Kilian has been experimenting with fragrances that immediately hit you with a unique, niche or artistic vibe in the opening notes, only to gradually shift into something more universally appealing, thus playing a clever trick on your senses. It's similar to how I love L’Heur Vert—it starts strong with licorice and absinthe but quickly transforms into a wearable scent. If it stayed true to that intense opening, it might be too overwhelming to wear. Smoking Hot does something similar, starting with juicy apple, shisha-like vibes, and a raisin-like clove scent before smoothly transitioning into a musky, spiced vanilla fragrance. It’s a brilliant technique, and Kilian pulls it off well here. Plus, the scent lasts all day even in the Texas heat—it’s good enough to add to your collection! Kilian seems to be onto something with this approach, and Smoking Hot might just become one of their standout hits.
